Smart Fusion™ is the approach to organisational effectiveness we developed at Greenfile Developments in partnership with our associate, Niall Marriott. Smart Fusion™ can be described simply as: using cost savings to deliver greater operational flexibility.

The cost savings come from effective operations: waste reduction, process improvements and innovations.

The operational flexibility allowed by increased working capital is limitless. The Smart Fusion™ process diagram below shows some of the opportunities allowed by the cost savings.

Best of all, the money coming out of Smart Fusion™ is money currently lost due to waste and inefficiency. Although it is actually part of your organisation's working capital , it is not in any allocated budget, so in fact, it is "free" money!

This becomes especially relevant when part of the cost savings are deployed towards Corporate Social Responsibility projects such as skills training for employees or community activities.
