Book - Sustainability in Construction 

New Initiative

We are very pleased to announce a new initiative in the area of sustainability in construction. Uly Ma of Greenfile Developments is writing a book, Sustainability in Construction, which will be published by Gower Publishing in the Spring/Summer of 2008.

The challenge of sustainability means that whilst it is essential for the long-term health of the construction industry and all of those allied to it - planners, investors, clients, suppliers and so on, there is also an immediate need for us to drive the agenda and push the ideas.

We can do our bit by publishing a book that will provide a very readable and, on occasions, challenging guide to managing sustainability along with a CD ROM containing case studies, resource materials, templates and activities that leaders and managers can use to raise awareness with all of their teams.

The book is aimed at helping you deliver your sustainability objectives through guidance, examples, case studies and tools that are easy and ready to use. It will also suggest ways to reduce resource wastage, and thence reduce your costs.
